So what about the rest: wheels, handlebars, stem, dropper post, grips etc. I am fortunate enough to work at Cycle Care, an independent bike shop in High Wycombe, and after speaking with the wonderful team at Hope Tech, I went for their products as far as I could:

There will be some readers who have seen what may be an obvious error: I’ve used a 30mm bottom bracket, which is too large for the 28.99mm SRAM DUB cranks. This is not an error as Hope also make a conversion kit.

For the dropper post I opted for a Fox Transfer Elite
