RC303 XCAM Hard Tail Frame

Pace have a long history of producing high performance cross-country mountain bike frames reaching way back to 1997. Cool, innovative designs that won many hearts. Our customers loved the sweet laser accurate handling, quality and attention to detail, but many wanted all this and more- more travel that is. Enter the RC303- a fresh take on the long-travel hardtail. Not a jump frame but sturdy enough to tackle big terrain. Roomy with relaxed geometry so the confidence can build when the trail points straight down the fall line. But lightweight. Don’t let the RC303s big strong tubes and gusseting mislead you into thinking this is another heavy weight boat anchor- at 1.95kg (medium frame) this svelte hardtail will scamper up the longest climb. Using custom butted 6066T6 aluminium increases the RC303s metallurgical spec’ too- 25% above the more commonplace 6000 series alloys. Which means we can carve away the excess and still have a tough-do-it all hardtail. However at the heart of the RC303 design lies its ability to accept a 130mm travel fork yet have bb, stem and standover heights that don’t reach for the sky. It’s semi-integrated headset ensures a low front end whilst one of the lowest stand-over heights in the business gives that huckable- ‘I can ride over and across anything’ confidence when the terrain goes technical. In fact you’ll have to keep glancing down at the fork to remind yourself it’s a big incher. If you love technical singletrack, be it up or down, check out the all-mountain/cross-country RC303.
